This matcha ice cream has an amazingly strong flavor of matcha. It is very creamy and is cheaper to make at home than to buy at the store. This recipe is very simple because it only has three ingredients and you do not need an ice cream machine. You have to use culinary grade matcha for this ingredient.
1/2 Cup Condensed Milk
1 Cup Heavy Cream
2 Tablespoons Culinary Matcha Powder
- Sift the matcha powder into a bowl. Pour in the heavy cream and the condensed milk and mix all the ingredients on high speed in a stand mixer or a hand mixer until soft peaks form.
- Put all of the mixture into an airtight container and freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.
